Business model

Our model is for self-employed agents working on a commission basis. Agents use the Holidaysplease branding across social media, with branded templates provided for quotes and administration. All invoices, tickets, and balance payments are handled by our in-house admin team. Customer data is securely stored and owned by head office via our internal portal. We also provide a fully integrated CRM system to support agents in managing customer contact and relationships effectively.

Costs

There are no monthly fees, just a one-off joining fee of £378. You can opt for our fixed-cost telephone service at £14.50 per month, covering line rental and call charges, or use your own phone line. Optional indemnity insurance is available at £14.99 per month, providing protection in the rare event a booking incurs a loss due to an error on your part. Credit card fees are split between the agent and Holidaysplease and are deducted from any commission payment.

Commission structure

Commission is paid on a sliding scale. For company-provided leads, rates start at 25% and rise to 45% after discount, based on monthly sales. Bookings from your own leads earn 50% after discount. A monthly profit incentive can increase earnings up to 55%. Commission is paid in two instalments: one the month after booking and the second after travel. If an agent leaves Holidaysplease, any future commission payments are forfeited.

Licenses and memberships

We are members of ABTA, and our in-house tour operator is fully ATOL protected. As part of the Hays Independence Group, we benefit from strong supplier terms. With access to over 300 third-party suppliers and our own tour operator, we remain highly competitive in the marketplace.

Training and support

We provide a 3-day remote induction covering our in-house systems and tour operations. Our internal hub offers ongoing training with suppliers and all resources needed to perform the role. We supply branded social media assets and monthly mailshots. A 24/7 internal forum connects agents with peers and head office. Our social media hub shares up-to-date supplier offers in one place. Agents also receive a dedicated page on our customer-facing website to support their business.
