Peppa Pig fans can head to the new Peppa Pig Theme Park, which opens at Legoland Florida Resort on 24 February.
The park has been created with preschool kids in mind and features sensory-rich, interactive rides and attractions, as well as themed play areas and live shows.
Attractions include George’s Tricycle Trail and a Muddy Puddles Splash Pad, where little ones can jump up and down in “Muddy Puddles”, run through fountains and have heaps of fun on the water slides. There’s also a cinema for tots who want to relax and watch their favourite Peppa Pig episodes.

Marvel comic book lovers and movie devotees should head to the new Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park, where they can help Spider-Man as part of the Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction; join Rocket on a mission to rescue the Guardians of the Galaxy at the Mission: Breakout attraction; and meet all their favourite superheroes at the Ancient Sanctum.
There are also different restaurants to try, including the Ant-Man-themed Pym Test Kitchen, as well as a gift shop. Also new at Disney California Adventure Park is ride Jessie’s Critter Carousel, where kids will hop onboard a cute desert critter from the world of Woody’s Roundup in Toy Story 2.

For families with teens: Swimming with manatees, Florida
Crystal River is home to the Florida manatee and the only place in North America where the US federal government allows “passive observation” of the gentle giants by swimming with them – a great experience for adventurous teens and their parents.
The manatee tours are offered year-round, but clients will see more of them in winter, when hundreds seek out the warmer waters of Florida’s second largest spring system.
