During a trade conference on the inaugural sailing of Norwegian Bliss, Nick Wilkinson, vice-president and managing director UK and EMEA revealed details of an incentive launching in early May that will ask agents to submit a marketing plan for implementation in September and October.
The top submissions will win a £4,000 marketing fund as well as a consultation day with members of NCL’s UK marketing and business development team and a £1,000 “premium all inclusive” team night out.
“It’s a great opportunity to show how smart and how good agents are. Instead of us always coming out with ABC – let’s hear what agents have to say,” said Wilkinson.
The UK boss also announced a new Book With Confidence initiative that allows agents to offer their clients reduced deposits of £50pp from now until May 17.
Plus if clients want to change their sailing date they can transfer the deposit outside 120 days to any other sailing.
The offer also includes $50 onboard credit.
