The airport posted from its Twitter account at around 9am today (December 29) to inform passengers of the disruption to flights as a result of the serve weather conditions and advised those travelling today to contact their airlines for more details.
Close to an hour later the airport tweeted again to confirm its winter operations team had cleared snow from its runway, taxiways and passenger walkways.
It said the team would “remain on standby throughout the day to monitor weather conditions”.
