Dolphin Dynamics has taken over the distribution of two Cruisehost products – Cruisea for agency use and Cruisec for online sales.
The products have been rebranded for the UK and Irish market as “Dolphin Cruise powered by Cruisehost”, and are available to use on their own or can be integrated with Dolphins existing suite of travel technology products.
Travel agents will have access to offers from more than 20 cruise companies from next month, including Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Costa, Cunard, MSC, NCL P&O and Princess Cruises.
Consultants will also be able to compare fares, book packages for clients and offer this facility online.
Chuck Richardson, managing director at Dolphin Dynamics, said: “The cruise sector has grown relentlessly for the past 10 years, but until now UK and Irish agencies and operators have had a very limited choice with respect to cruise booking solutions.”
Companies piloting the system include Loughton-based operator USAirtours, which has provided “overwhelmingly positive feedback”, added Richardson.
Alongside cruise-only offers, extra services such as transportation to and from the ship will be available via Dolphin Cruise by Cruisehost.
Also, agents will be able to bundle individual cruise packages and distribute them.
Future developments include the ability for agents and tour operators using Dolphin’s back office product to import cruise quotes and bookings.
“We look forward to helping cruise-focused travel companies streamline their operations and improve sales with Dolphin Cruise, just as we have done for so many other travel agencies, tour operators and TMCs using our existing range of products,” Richardson concluded.
