The Trampery, a specialist in workspaces, communities and support programmes for entrepreneurs, launched the Traveltech Lab in 2015 to help travel and tourism start-ups.
However, its deal with London & Partners is to end due to the latter’s expansion, with staff moving into the workspace located in More London, overlooking Tower Bridge.
Traveltech Lab start-ups have been offered accommodation at The Trampery’s other London locations.
It says it is now looking for “a global travel industry player to take over as its anchor partner for Traveltech Lab”.
Since then it has helped 87 start-ups, including Much Better Adventures, BD4Travel, Esplorio, WanderPay, SideStory and Touriocity. Collectively the lab’s members have raised £26 million in venture investment.
Meanwhile, The Trampery says it is committed to continuing to run events and support the travel technology community, with current activities including Hilton, Expedia, Hotels.com, IBS and Collinson Group.
Charles Armstrong, founder and chief executive of The Trampery, said: “Over the past three years Traveltech Lab has helped launch a succession of the UK’s most successful travel innovators. Along the way, we’ve helped establish London as a world centre of excellence for the sector and delivered programmes with some of the industry’s biggest names. I appreciate the support we’ve received from London & Partners. We’re committed to continuing the initiative if we can find the right anchor partner.”
The Trampery, which counts HRH the Duke of York as its patron, is currently developing “Fish Island Village” – a new innovation district on the edge of London’s Olympic Park.
