After backpacking around the world for two years back in 1996, Stuart came home and went straight into travel with a career that started at Bridge The World.
He later moved into corporate travel including a very successful time at Hillgate Travel. Over the last 17 years, he has also worked in charity travel, a homeworking travel agency and entertainment travel, where he worked his way up to Global Sales and Communications Director.
He had the idea for Luxury Travel Advisors about a year ago and says he has worked tirelessly on it since to make it all happen, overcoming endless challenges.
The emphasis now is on selling unique tailor-made luxury travel experiences, based on seven themes – Wonders, Wellness, Wilderness, Art, Style, Gastronomy and Extremes, and these trips can be taken as a round-the-world trip of a lifetime, or mixed up and combined.
Luckily his first client was an A list Film Star, who then referred Stuart to a friend and the rest is history, with the company now booking ultra-high net worth individuals from Qatar, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and USA and the UK - all without any PR or marketing.
