Young people carving out their careers in the travel industry are urged to add their voice to the TTG Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders conference at World Travel Market London 2017 on Wednesday, November 8.
The free event, now in its fourth year but being held for the first time at WTM London, will hear leadership tips and life stories from high achievers across the travel industry, including David Speakman, founder of Travel Counsellors and now chairman of Genus Capital.
It will also lay bare the state of careers in travel today, drawing upon views of young people across the industry. TTG is currently conducting a survey of young people in travel, with a £100 Love2shop voucher to be won. Visit the event page to find out more.
The TTG Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders conference follows the success of the TTG 30 Under 30 scheme, which has built up a network of the best young people in travel over the past five years, naming 30 rising stars under the age of 30 each year, with many already having moved into senior positions in the industry.
Two of our latest crop – Nathan Cable, co-founder of Party Hard Travel, and Georgia Lewis, business development manager at Travelsphere and Just You – will quiz Speakman on his experiences running travel businesses at the event.
Other speakers at the event include young entrepreneurs supported by the Traveltech Lab; Jennifer Atikinson, chief executive of the Inspiring Travel Company; Jeannette Linfoot, managing director of Saga Tour Operating; and Brian Young, managing director, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, G Adventures.
