Building on the success of the well-established TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies, this initiative will spotlight excellence across 10 luxury travel categories.
“This programme will be a beacon of what luxury agencies should look like, giving essential recognition for agencies from every corner of the market and across the country — whether they are a brilliant one-off high street store, or a company that specialises in responsible travel,” said April Hutchinson, editor and publisher of TTG Luxury.
“We felt there was a real need for a ‘go-to’ list that collects exemplary agencies together, places them among peers, helps suppliers understand who shines the brightest, and of course, lets their customers and travellers know who are the best.”
Entries for agencies will open at the end of April, with a thorough selection process designed to focus on exceptional customer service, supplier relationships, creative trip planning, sales success, and team development. Shortlisted agencies will also be invited to participate in video interviews as part of the assessment to ensure they tell their story to the fullest.
The initiative will culminate in a prestigious evening awards ceremony on 12 November at the Royal Lancaster London during Day of Luxury, which will also include the latest outing for the long-established Luxpo event, where shortlisted agencies will get to meet with key suppliers during the day.
The categories include Top Luxury High Street Agency (sole store), Top Luxury High Street Group, Top Luxury Leisure Agency (office), Top Luxury Concierge Company, two categories for home-based agencies, Top Luxury Cruise Agency, and Top Luxury Responsible Travel Agency.
There will also be categories for Top Luxury Adventure Agency and Top Luxury Weddings & Honeymoons Agency, plus an overall UK & Ireland’s Top Luxury Agency. Representatives from the shortlisted agencies will be invited to Luxpo, and will also receive one complimentary ticket to attend the awards dinner in the evening.
Winning agencies will benefit from exclusive recognition across all TTG Media channels, marketing materials they can use to help showcase their status among clients, and an invaluable Top 20 Luxury Travel Agencies by TTG Luxury Insight Report, allowing them to benchmark among peers in the sector.
