The luxury cruise line’s smallest ship will undergo the refurbishment in Rotterdam from 17 October to 5 November, marking its first cosmetic upgrade since 2017.
Guests can expect a “revitalisation” of Queen Victoria’s signature spaces, including its Grand Lobby and Queens Room. Cunard’s Grill Suite experience, which is known for delivering VIP service, will also be “elevated.”
The furnishings of both Queens Grill and Princess Grill suites will be updated with “sophisticated detailing and thoughtful design,” without compromising on the vessel’s historic qualities.
Eight more Britannia staterooms will also be introduced, including three from a new premium category Britannia Deluxe Oceanview.
The ship will also become the third Queen in the Cunard fleet to introduce The Pavilion Wellness Café, an informal dining space specialising in plant-based breakfast and lunch dishes.
The news comes just two months after the cruise line added four more ship visit dates to its 2026 programme in autumn and winter.

Queen Victoria will resume sailing on 7 November 2026 when it welcomes guests on sailings across the Mediterranean, the Norwegian Fjords and the Canary Islands.
It will also operate a Grand World Voyage in January, a 109-night journey spanning the Panama Canal, South Pacific, Australia, Asia, and Africa departing from Southampton.

Cunard's Queen Elizabeth ship was refurbished last year ahead of a debut season sailing from Miami as well as an inaugural sailing from Seattle.
Following its three-week makeover in Singapore, the 2,000-passenger Queen Elizabeth ship now has a pavilion Wellness Cafe, which debuted in 2024 on Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne.
