Lo Bue-Said, who joined Advantage in 1995, has previously held leisure and commercial roles with the consortium.
She was most recently appointed managing director in July 2013.
Steven Esom, Advantage’s non-executive chairman, said: “Julia’s dedication and contribution to the growth of Advantage over the last four years has been significant.
"I’m thrilled to confirm Julia’s appointment as CEO.”
Lo Bue-Said’s promotion comes as Advantage Travel Centres reports net profits of £321,000 for the financial year October 2016 through September 2017.
Turnover, meanwhile, increased to £20.9m.
New chief executive Lo Bue-Said said: “We are delighted at the performance of the group; creating a wealthy business on behalf of our member shareholders.
“We will continue driving forward in an ambitious manner as well as continuing to invest further in the group, an example of which was the acquisition made for the majority of shares last year in WIN.
"Our success factors are not however measured purely on the profits we make but on our ability to reinvest into the organisation, in our products and services, for the benefit of our members.”
She added Advantage’s investment in Advantage Holidays and Gateway2, greater member engagement and face-to-face visits, and an extended training and events programme, underlined the consortium’s commitment to members.
Nick Moser, Advantage finance director, said: “Our core businesses performed in line with our expectations.
“Our net asset position remains strong and we are well placed to continue our strategy of investing in new products and services and technology solutions for our members in the coming year.”
