The Beachcomber Big 50 fam will see a half century of travel consultants journey to the Indian Ocean destination in spring next year.
Trade partners can enter to win a place in a number of ways including making at least one Mauritius booking with Beachcomber between December 18 and February 28.
Agents can also choose one of the following marketing ideas to action between January 1 and February 28.
- Prepare a Beachcomber window display and keep it in place for a minimum of one week
- Action a Facebook marketing campaign on the agent’s Facebook page for a minimum of one week.
- Create a Beachcomber Mauritius promotion page on the agent’s website promoting the operator’s hotel range on the island.
Agents must send evidence of the marketing action to their Beachcomber regional sales manager.
All promotions will then be judged by Beachcomber brand ambassador Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and a shortlist of agents selected.
Agents who have secured a fam place will be notified in early March.
Agents must be aged over 25 and employed as a travel agent in the UK for at least two years to attend the fam.
There is also a fee of £300 to attend which can be earned back at a rate of £50 per booking in the six months following the trip.
The educational is being supported by Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels, Mautourco, Mauritius Tourism and Promotion Authority, Air Mauritius, Turkish Airline, Emirates and British Airways.
