The line revealed that Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural 2020 European summer itineraries will now be able to be booked from July 12 – instead of August as previously planned.
The decision followed the best single booking day in Regent’s 26-year-histroy after opening reservations for Splendor’s first 10 voyages.
Regent made the announcement at the ship’s keel-laying ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, Italy.
During the ceremony – which marks the official start of a ship’s construction - Regent president and chief executive Jason Montague said Splendor “builds upon the success” of its predecessor Seven Seas Explorer.
Montague said the all-suite, all-balcony ship, Splendor “strives to perfect uncompromised luxury on the seas.”
