The new offer means if the operator lowers the price of a customer’s tour after they’ve booked, it’ll refund the difference. Customers have been advised to book early to secure prices on the operator’s range of tours across 50 countries.
The tour price promise doesn’t apply to flight costs if alternative flights are booked and the tour must be like-for-like including departure date, departure airport and any extras booked.
The offer does not apply to exclusive deals such as add-ons, upgrades, loyalty discount or date change discounts, and if the price reduction is made before the final balance is paid then the discount will be taken off the final balance charge.
If the price reduction occurs after the final balance is paid, Mercury will refund the difference within 14 days. It does not apply to river cruise and package holidays.
The brand’s 2024 tours are now on sale for all destinations across its portfolio. Next year’s departures have been frozen at 2023 prices.
Destinations include India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, China, South Africa, Jordan, Mexico, Canada and Croatia.
