Posters have appears around the popular Majorcan resort discouraging the party antics it has long been associated with.
Magaluf has been a mainstay for British holidaymakers for generations, a place where thousands head every year to let their hair down.
The signs though warn visitors they could face heavy fines for public nudity, drinking in the street and fighting.
A town council brain wave, the posters are written in both English and Spanish, and carry the hashtag #havefunwithrespect.
One sign reads: “Drink on the street. Penalty 500 Euros.”
Others add: “Wear no clothes on the street. Penalty 400 Euros"; and “Shout, fight, or bother people. Penalty 400 Euros”.
In total, around 20 signs have been put up, 15 on Magaluf’s Punta Ballena part strip, The Sun reports.
A Calvia Council statement added it would lobby the regional Balearic Islands government to more stringently regulate all-inclusive hotel packages to exclude alcohol, or limit two-for-one or happy hour deals in bars.
