Obeo has tasked the Flexi team with finding new trade partners in the UK.

The firm, launched by former Jet2 general manager trade sales Craig Davidson last month, will also represent Obeo at UK trade shows, as well as other travel and agent training events.

Managing director Davidson said: “Our services were initially set up to provide reps on the ground for established businesses in this market. [But] we, of course, have the connections in trade distribution to help bring new products to market.”

Davidson added “further relationships were on the cards”.

Obeo, which has a similar agreement with ASM Ireland, said it was now looking to replicate this in the UK.

Rannveig Snorradottir, Obeo managing director, added: “Craig has a great little black book of contacts, and the team at Flexi have a large network of talented reps to tap into.

“We look forward to forging partnerships with UK tour operators and retailers, and we are delighted Craig will be managing this on our behalf.”
