Managing director, Central Europe, Reinhard Kotzaurek has been named as Constable’s replacement and will take up the role in January.

Constable said: “It is with many mixed emotions that after 12 incredible years with STA Travel I have decided to move on to a new and exciting opportunity that I will start in 2018.

“It’s been an amazing journey with so many achievements across the business, for which I owe enormous thanks to every one of our teams across the world.

“I wish Reinhard and everyone continued success, fun and adventure for the next part of the STA Travel journey.”

Kotzaurek added: “Under the leadership of John, STA Travel has become the world’s largest provider of travel for students and youth, and I am very grateful to continue this success story. I am convinced that together we will meet the requirements of our industry and climb new heights.”
