Could you give us an introduction to Easia?

And how can you support agents with bespoke south-east Asia and Japan holidays?

We make tailor-made south-east Asia easy, fast and commercially viable for the travel trade. Our in-destination teams work closely with partners to turn client briefs into well-designed programmes, whether that’s bespoke itineraries, group travel or more complex, multi-country journeys.

With fast turnaround times, strong local expertise and access to distinctive, experience-led product, we help partners bring ideas to life quickly and effectively. This is underpinned by a reputation for reliable, high-quality delivery on the ground, alongside UK-based BDM support — giving partners confidence from initial enquiry through to travel.

What are the benefits for agents to creating their own Atol-protected, tailor-made packages with you?

Creating Atol-protected, tailor-made packages with Easia gives travel trade partners greater control, flexibility, and commercial return. By building their own packages, partners can tailor each itinerary to suit their clients, rather than relying on fixed, off-the-shelf product, helping them stand out in a competitive market.

Working with a DMC like Easia also means benefiting from strong local buying power and efficient in-destination contracting, which can translate into more competitive pricing and improved margins. Combined with the security of Atol protection, this approach allows partners to package with confidence while delivering more personalised, higher-value travel experiences.

What difference could agents expect to see in their margin by creating one of these trips with you, compared to pre-packaged products for the same destinations?

By working with Easia on net rates, travel trade partners can price each trip themselves rather than relying on fixed commission levels. This gives them the flexibility to build in the margin that works for their business and their client.

In many cases, this can mean better overall margins than pre-packaged holidays, especially on more tailored or higher-value trips, while also allowing partners to offer something more personalised and competitive.

And what support can you offer agents?

We offer end-to-end support, from initial enquiry through to delivery on the ground. Our in-destination teams handle itinerary planning and operations, while our UK-based BDM team provides a local point of contact for partners.

With fast responses, strong local knowledge and a focus on reliable delivery, we aim to make working with Easia straightforward and consistent, giving partners confidence at every stage of the booking process.

What sort of holidays can you help agents create?

We support travel trade partners across a wide range of travel styles, from classic south-east Asia touring to more specialist and high-end experiences. This includes popular itineraries featuring Vietnam touring, Cambodia’s Angkor temples, Thailand beach extensions and Laos Mekong River cruises, as well as increasingly in-demand Japan programmes.

Alongside these core journeys, we also develop more niche and experience-led trips through our specialist divisions. Easia Active focuses on cycling, trekking and soft adventure, while Easia Exclusive curates more premium, immersive programmes with high-end accommodation and unique local access.

This breadth allows partners to create everything from first-time itineraries to more distinctive, higher-value trips tailored to different client needs.

Which clients should agents be considering these types of trips for?

These types of trips can appeal to a broad range of clients, but are particularly well suited to those already booking long-haul or experience-led holidays. This includes couples, solos, families and groups looking for something more personalised, as well as repeat travellers who are already taking long-haul or experience-led trips and are looking to try something different.

They’re also a strong fit for clients booking touring holidays, cruises or multi-centre trips, who are open to more immersive, culturally rich experiences. With the flexibility of tailor-made travel, partners can adapt itineraries to suit different budgets, travel styles and levels of complexity.

What work are you doing around sustainable and responsible travel?

Sustainability is a core focus for Easia Travel, supported by our Travelife certification and long-standing commitment to responsible tourism practices across our destinations. We are also a ChildSafe-certified organisation, with clear policies in place to protect children and support responsible interactions in destination.

Our approach focuses on creating positive local impact by working closely with local communities, suppliers and guides, ensuring tourism spend stays within the destination. We also follow strict guidelines around animal welfare and only work with partners that meet our standards.
