It has released almost 4.5 million seats across 181 routes from 14 UK airport bases, making it Jet2’s largest winter sun programme to date.

The programme covers 17 winter sun destinations across Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Malta, Morocco, Cyprus and Egypt, with several routes remaining exclusive to Jet2 from selected airports. This includes services to Madeira, Agadir and La Palma, as well as the operator's year-round service to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh.

Manchester will see the largest allocation of capacity, with more than 700,000 seats on sale and flights to all 17 winter sun destinations, while approximately 880,000 seats have been allocated across three London airports. Other major bases include Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds Bradford, each offering extensive winter programmes.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2, said the programme had been designed in "direct response" to customer demand.

"We are very pleased to be giving customers and independent travel agents fantastic choice and flexibility; this will be our first year of full winter season operations to Egypt," he said. 

"We are not done yet, with even more exciting announcements about our winter 27/28 programme coming soon."
