With its reimagined cabin tiers having fully bedded in, the launch of its new summer wine menu and announcements about yet more premium destinations on the cards, now is the time to consider recommending your clients opt to travel overseas (or underseas) via Eurostar.
Eurostar now has three travel classes: Eurostar Standard, Eurostar Plus and Eurostar Premier. All include a generous luggage allowance of two suitcases and one hand luggage per person, with no weight limits or liquid restrictions.
Eurostar Plus and Premier passengers can enjoy spacious seats and extra legroom, with Eurostar Plus travellers served a light meal at their seat. Premier passengers are offered a three-course gourmet meal with champagne onboard, as well as access to Eurostar Premier lounges and a dedicated check-in.
Summer wine
Last month, Eurostar unveiled a refreshed summer wine list for Eurostar Premier, with 80% of its onboard wine selection now organic, reinforcing its commitment to more sustainable food and drink across its network.
Curated by Eurostar’s Head Sommelier, Honey Spencer, and available now across all routes, the new list brings together a seasonal selection of wines from southern France, chosen for their freshness and balance. Designed specifically for summer travel, the wines have been selected to pair with the bold seasonal dishes created by Eurostar’s Head Chef Jeremy Chan and Pastry Chef Jessica Prealpato, forming part of the wider Eurostar Premier onboard dining experience.
The refreshed list features five wines from southern France, selected for their vibrancy, balance and suitability for travel: Fleuriot – IGP Cotes Catalanes BIO, Dourbie OSCAR Blanc – BIO, Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Blanc – IGP Pays d’Oc BIO, Antoine Ruhlmann Les Hauts de Valmont – AOP Corbieres BIO and Petit Roubie Syrah Rose – BIO.
The Eurostar Premier summer wine list is available now across all routes. Champagne Fleury remains available across Eurostar Premier as a signature organic Champagne offering.

Travelling on Eurostar in 2026
Eurostar has also recently announced some exciting routes news. Last month, it revealed that alongside SBB and SNCF Voyaguers, it has signed a memorandum of understanding for a direct London-Switzerland connection.
London is the number one flight destination from Switzerland, and at the same time, there is strong customer demand for a direct rail connection to the UK, according to Eurostar. Studies show that direct connections between London and Zurich with a travel time of six hours, between London and Basel with a travel time of five hours, and between London and Geneva with a travel time of five and a half hours, could respond to a market demand and to international travellers' expectations.
Heading out on a girl’s trip to Paris, we opted to travel via Eurostar Premier – and I’m so glad we did. After a seamless transfer to the Eurostar terminal at St Pancras International, from our train into the adjacent King’s Cross station, we swiftly made our way through the dedicated Premier check-in, before quickly completing security and meandering to the nearby Premier lounge, a winding sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the terminal.
The little snack and drinks area was a welcome sight after an early wake up, and after freshening up with the bathroom’s Diptique soap and hand cream, we plopped onto sofas to drink coffee and make a start on our “first breakfast”, whilst pondering what to do with our 48 hours in the City of Love.
We were soon boarding, and with the help of the very friendly train guards we were stretching our legs and commencing our journey. It wasn’t long before the food service came round, and we were dining on home-made chia seed and almond muesli, followed by a delicious main course of spiced sausage, sauteed spinach and mushrooms with a leek and Tunworth free-range egg omelette – all accompanied by a smoothie and croissant, of course. It’s worth noting though that alcohol is not available on Eurostar’s early morning services. It was probably for the best!
Throughout our journey, we could relax in the knowledge dedicated Eurostar Premier lanes close 15 minutes before departure; travelling Premier, you can exchange your ticket as many times as you want or get a refund with no fee up to two days after departure; and you can board any other train on your day of departure at no extra charge.
