Bridget Nhire, a fashion stylist, was escorted from the aircraft by police but released without charge, according to the Sunday People.
She had allegedly brawled with another passenger who complained that she was repeatedly getting up to stretch her legs during the seven-hour flight.
Crew members had accused the passenger of being drunk and moved her to another part of the cabin, employing hand restraints.
Ms Nhire, who denies being drunk but admits drinking some wine onboard, was told to fly back from Dubai on another carrier and handed a lifetime ban.
BA said lifetime bans could be appealed but told the paper that it would not discuss individual cases.
