The carrier already operates to both cities but its service to Doha, Qatar, stops in Bahrain and the flight to Oman’s capital Muscat currently travels via Abu Dhabi.
BA will serve both Doha and Muscat directly from October 30, with the Doha flight operating daily and Muscat services five times per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Operating direct services will reduce the journey time to each city by around two hours.
The airline will also continue to fly direct to Abu Dhabi and Bahrain on a daily basis next winter. BA will operate a new 787 Dreamliner aircraft on its Abu Dhabi route including a new First cabin with eight seats.
BA has launched a sale to mark the new flights with return fares to the four cities starting at £349 for economy and £599 in premium economy (World Traveller Plus) until May 17.
