It comes after the worst mass shooting in US history, when a US-born man killed 50 people in a gay nightclub in Orlando City in the early hours of Sunday morning, leaving another 53 injured.
The gunman was later killed after a three-hour standoff.
A spokesperson for Visit Orlando said an official response was expected later today.
Meanwhile, the UK Foreign Office has told British visitors in the area to avoid the area where the massacre took place, but has issued no specific advice about visiting Florida.
It advises only that there is a “general risk” of terrorism throughout the US.
