The male, who was believed to be carrying a knife, entered the Co-operative Travel store in West Kirby on July 18 at around 4.35pm.
During the incident he demanded money from two members of staff at the shop on Banks Road before fleeing the premises with “a quantity of cash”, Merseyside Police have said.
The man then made his way along the road in the direction of Sayers bakery.
Authorities have confirmed that no members of staff were injured during the raid but were “left shaken” by their experience.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who may recognise the man, pictured here, or who may have been in the vicinity of Banks Road during the incident.
