It comes as the line announces its summer 2022 Celebrity Moments campaign, where its 100 top-performing agents between 1 June and 31 July will each win £250, as well as a range of luxury-inspired prizes.
"Customer confidence is improving all the time," Celebrity’s head of sales Nicola McNeish told TTG. "We’re getting a really nice mix of bookings across our 2022 sailings.
"We’re seeing a real upturn in demand in people wanting to go away on late holidays within the next few months, as well as people wanting to use the money they’ve saved during the pandemic on bucket-list holidays."
The line has seen a particular increase in Galapagos and Alaska itineraries, as well as Celebrity Edge sailings from Australia next winter.
"People have gone for so long throughout the pandemic without a holiday, they are now desperate to get away to see the sunshine, whether it’s a sailing out of Southampton down to the Mediterranean, or going over to Barcelona," McNeish added.
"We have six ships in Europe this summer, but it depends on what people are looking for. If they want the latest in the fleet, an Edge-series ship, we have Beyond out of Barcelona on nine- and 10-night itineraries.
"Another one that is proving popular is Celebrity Constellation, which has got some really exclusive ports of call, like Thessaloniki, Taranto and Koper."
