So far 18 cruise line executives from the Clia Cruise Line Member group have confirmed their attendance to the event which includes sessions of interest for port authorities and agents as well as tour operators and other tourism organisations.
It is part of Clia’s executive partner program, which sees events and conferences organised for each of Clia’s additional communities of interest.
The event will be held at the headquarters of the law firm Hill Dickinson LLP in London City, in association with Cruise Port Kotka, the headline sponsor.
Bo Larsen, vice president strategic partnerships for Clia said: “Following last year’s inaugural forum we are delighted to bring back to London an enhanced program for CLIA’s 2016 Port & Destination Forum.
"Cruising remains a dynamic, forward-thinking and rapidly evolving industry. As it continues to grow, so does the number of ports and destinations cruise ships visit.
“Thus the need to bring together key players of the port and destination community to discuss the common challenges and opportunities that arise in this process.”
