The aircraft is now being operated on both its non-stop Auckland flight as well as its route to Christchurch, which includes a stop in Sydney.
The introduction of the aircraft means Brits can now fly the entire trip to New Zealand on an A380 with Emirates with a stopover in Dubai.
It comes as the airline reports a boost in UK bookings for the destination with passenger numbers for the next six months to Christchurch up 10%.
For Auckland, bookings have more than double to 113% for travel between October and March while ex-Heathrow bookings are up 109%.
Bookings out of Manchester have grown 65%, Birmingham 59%, Newcastle 35% and Glasgow 34%.
