The Tangram Content and Social Intelligence Platform has been launched by Zen3, which counts Steve Endacott as its non-executive chairman.
When applied to online video, the system transcribes any speech and then embeds and highlights key words which then improves the website’s SEO.
By recognising key words and listing them on the site, it also allows consumers watching the video to click on anything of interest, activating a link that takes them direct to the relevant section of the video.
For instance a customer watching a promotional video of a destination can jump to the key points of interest in the video to them while avoiding the rest.
Endacott said: “There’s a massive amount of historical video out there that’s never really been given any SEO boost.
“Everyone is trying to create new authentic content but the reality is there’s lots of video out there that can be improved.”
He added the system can also be used for call centre training, replacing the traditional method of staff listening in to employees’ phone calls.
Instead, the programme transcribes every call a member of staff takes and then analyses them to work out whether or not they are covering every aspect of the sale they have bee trained to do.
“I see it as being a very useful tool for any homeworking network as how can you know how compliant the staff are (with their training),” Endacott said.
He has now been joined by Zen3 technology director Manoj Kanumri in the UK as the pair make their first sales trip in the UK.
