Rayani Air will offer services from Kuala Lumpur , Langkawi and other Malyasian destinations.
In addition to only serving halal meals, it will also insist that women cover their hair, the Telegraph reported.
Prayers will be recited before take-off on all flights, and Muslim air stewardesses obliged to wear the hijab, the Islamic headscarf.
Jaafar Zamhari, Rayani Air’s managing director, confirmed: "It is compulsory for our Muslim women cabin crew to wear hijab and for non-Muslims to wear a decent uniform”, Mr Zamhari said, according to local news outlet Astro Awani.
