Among the companies using the event to showcase their own offering are ticket specialist Encore, B2B ground-handling specialists The Worldwide DMC, tour operator Eurowelcome and self-catering accommodation specialist Capemoor Apartments.
Generator Hostels will also be present while Historic Royal Palaces, which manage six royal palaces including the Tower of London and Hampton Court, will also be in the pavilion from March 29 to 31 in Sao Paulo.
John Calthorpe, managing director of Pavilion Expo Limited, which organised the UK Pavilion, said: “UK companies are excited to be exhibiting this year at WTM Latin America in Sao Paulo.
“It is the first time that a UK Pavilion has been present and the companies that are coming are looking forward to meeting with as many agents as possible and making new and lasting business relations.
“South America has an estimated 500,000 travellers reaching the shores of the UK to sample the delights of our culture, history and wonderful attractions around the country.
“With several direct flights a week coming from Rio, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Mexico we want to make sure that everyone who arrives gets the service and stay they want.”
WTM Latin America exhibition director Lawrence Reinisch added: "The UK is one of the most important destinations in the world in terms of travel, tourism, culture and economic scopes.
“We are delighted to receive this huge presence at WTM Latin America, after six years for them with little exposure in this market.
“This partnership promises to be extremely positive not only for the UK but also for our visitors and buyers. We hope it is the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship.”
