Tickets are already available for booking with one-way fares leading in at £29.99, including taxes and charges.
Customers using the service can then either take a break in the Irish capital or use the US pre-clearance immigration and customers services to access any of Dublin’s many routes to the States.
Steve Gill, chief executive of Doncaster Sheffield airport, said: “We are delighted to announce this new route with Flybe. It further strengthens our relationship with the airline.
“It’s been heartening to see the growth and diversity in the routes offered by Flybe since their launch earlier this year. Dusseldorf, Chambery and now Dublin have been added to the original schedule.”
Flybe chief revenue officer Vincent Hodder added: “We have timed flights to maximise convenience.
“The early weekday flights mean that business travellers can make the most of having a full working day, and there is more opportunity for travellers wanting to travel onwards to the US and Canada.”
