Following last Friday’s terrorist attack on Paris, which saw 129 people killed, and as part of the country’s ongoing national state of emergency, all French school trips within France have been banned until November 22.
While the cancellations do not explicitly extend to foreign schools, the French Ministry of Education has advised that that foreign school groups avoid the country during the same time, advice that the FCO is now embracing.
However, it added that any school groups already in the country should continue with their itineraries as planned.
