Ten offerings are featured in the newly launched brochure, including itineraries to the Amazon river as well as three Arctic journeys and four Antarctica cruises.

As part of its Amazon river expeditions, which will run from April 27 to May 13, 2017, guests will be taken over two thousand miles from Iquitos in Peru to the mouth of the river in the Atlantic at Belem in Brazil with voyages available from £8,660pp, including a charter flight Lima to Iquitos, cruise only.

Among its cold water sailings, Hapag-Lloyd will offer a 15-day Expedition Antarctica itinerary, featuring a round trip from Ushuaia between December 2-17 next year, visiting the South Shetland Islands, Elephant Island, Half Moon Island, Deception Island and the Antarctic Peninsula.

Sailings to the South Seas and Central America will also be available, including a 12-day journey between November 2-14, 2017 from the island of Curacao to the port of Callao in Peru.
