Toni Smith was sent a box of chocolates as well as £50 in restaurant vouchers.
Her name will now be put forward to be included in the prize draw at the end of 2016 for the title of Agent of the Year, which will be won by two agents.
At this event the two winners will be invited to “matchmake” their own holiday worth around £2,000.
Holiday Extras said Smith had helped improve her customers’ holiday experiences by working with the company to create “the perfect airport journey”.
“They shared their leaflets on social media which has resulted in a marked growth in bookings,” it said.
Smith said: “I am delighted to have won… I’ve been working really hard with my team to ensure that they are talking about extras with everyone to enhance the customer experience.
“My apprentice, Jonathan, produced an add-ons flyer for each of the staff members to display on their desks. We have had great success from customers noticing the flyer so far.
“The staff are sharing their own holiday experiences, especially when selling airport lounges. If the customers don’t buy from us at the time of booking we always mention it again at balance payment stage as it will be getting nearer the time of their holiday.”
Holiday Extras said agents had been sent a gold pack containing the new campaign, along with agent of the month details, and £50 worth of restaurant vouchers.
Lindsay Garvey-Jones, national partnerships manager for Holiday Extras, added: “The agent of the month is part of the concept of matchmaking to help our partners match products to customers at the right time. The information that we offer about our products’ suitability will empower agents to recommend our product choices for customers, which will in turn help to create a fantastic holiday experience.”
