The 132-page US brochure will soon be delivered to agents – backed by a new US destination team – assembled from new recruits with wide experience of the country.
If Only’s expansion also includes a new US product department, led by new product manager Rachel McAneny. Drawing on her experience as destination manager with British Airways Holidays, Hayes & Jarvis and JetSave, McAneny has developed If Only’s US portfolio. She said: “Of course we’ll offer the perennial favourites like Orlando, New York and Las Vegas, but our well-travelled team are able to offer so much more – from upmarket resorts on Florida’s coasts to once-in-a-lifetime tours through the Deep South.
“Self-drive by car or RV along California’s Pacific Coast Highway, on Route 66, or through New England in the fall – just three of the classic road trips that our team can craft to suit every client’s wishes.
“We’ll also offer get-away-from-it-all trips to lodges in the national parks or ranches in the heart of cowboy country.”
If Only’s business development team of six will be visiting and training agents across the UK, and inviting them to pull Christmas crackers with themed treats and prizes ranging from Hershey’s Kisses to stays at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa.
