Paul Melinis, sales and marketing director, said the new brochure would enable agents to “hone in on the product that resonates best” with their business and would include “regionalised” sections for each of the operator’s global territories.
On top of launching next year’s programme, Insight Vacations has also upgraded its website to improve user experience.
Melinis said the revamped platform would be “easier to search and navigate”, offering agents “incredible photography and a tab that highlights each trip’s key selling points, making it easier to pull out the ingredients that make an Insight Vacations trip”.
The escorted touring specialist has also added three itineraries to the programme, including two Scandinavia trips.
“We’ve been listening to agent and customer feedback to really understand what our guests want from European travel, and there’s a definite trend towards exploration of these less-explored parts,” Melinis added.
One of its new additions includes Insight’s 12-day Country Roads of Southern Scandinavia trip, which takes travellers between Oslo and Copenhagen. Beginning in the Norwegian capital, the itinerary sees guests visit the coastal city of Bergen to sample its Christmas market.
From there, travellers will experience an “island-hopping” cruise through the country’s west coast fjords to Stavanger and two nights in the Danish city of Aarhus – which has been chosen as the European Capital of Culture for 2017.
Alternatively, clients can opt for Insight’s Warsaw and the Baltic States itinerary which takes in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia over the course of eight days.
Launched on the back of Poland’s “continued popularity” and leading in at £1,495pp, the trip includes a tour of Warsaw with a local guide and a visit to the Gothic castle at Trakai, near the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius.
To celebrate the launch of its new Europe 2017 programme, Insight is offering an early payment discount of up to 10% on holidays booked and paid for before January 27.
