Intrepid said on Tuesday (8 August) the top two individual fundraisers and top three team fundraisers will win spots on a 10-day tour of Vietnam’s east coast.
“Participating in, or sponsoring, the marathon walk is our chance as an industry and as travellers to give back,” Intrepid Foundation general manager Biheng Zhang said.
Taking place on 10 September, the marathon brings together more than 300 people from 15 different countries to raise funds for Vietnam-based NGO Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, which offers support to victims of human trafficking.
“By fundraising or sponsoring the Blue Dragon Marathon Walk, you can easily yet dramatically change the lives of children and families in need,” added Intrepid chair Darrell Wade.
Agents can sign up to take part in 10km, 21km or 42km distances.
