The low-cost carrier is adding 200,000 seats with the new routes and will now operate to a total of 33 destinations.

The expansion sees Jet2.com raising its capacity by 60% to more than 1.4 million seats for its second summer of operations from Stansted.

In addition to the new destinations, more weekly services are being operated to a number of destinations, including Turkey, Gran Canaria, Menorca, Girona, Paphos, Dubrovnik and Verona.

Ten aircraft will operate from the airport next summer – three more than this year.

“With 33 destinations on sale, in just our second summer of operations, this reflects the confidence we have at our newest base – where our offer of real package holidays is making us a huge hit.”
