The low-cost carrier will begin flying from the Essex terminal in spring of 2017 and has a total of 200 staff to recruit – half of which will be cabin crew.
Other vacancies including passenger service agents, engineers, ground operatives and pilots.
The jobs are in addition to the 1,000 positions being created by the airline as it expands across the UK, including its new bases at Birmingham and Stansted.
Jet2’s first flights from Stansted are due to depart on March 30 to Alicante, Faro, Majorca and Lanzarote.
