The nationwide competition, in partnership with Sol Katmandu Park & Resort, is offering nine classes, with pupils aged between nine and 13, and their teachers the chance to win an all-expenses-paid long weekend in Majorca in April 2018.
The Ultimate School Trip competition has been launched by TV presenters Dick and Dom, who will be running workshops during the weekend in Majorca.
The duo will also help to judge the contest where pupils will be tasked with producing their own promotional material for Sol Katmandu, which can be in the form of a poster, poem, song or video.
Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2holidays and Jet2.com, said: “We’re very excited to launch the Ultimate School Trip. School trips provide many of our best school memories and create some of the most valuable and lasting educational experiences.”
Entries are open until February 28, 2018, with 45 schools being shortlisted and the nine class winners will be announced on March 13.
All 45 shortlisted schools will also receive £1,000 worth of vouchers for school equipment.
