Research by organisations including Mintel, Euromonitor International, Neilsen and Phocuswright are set to be unveiled during the exhibition taking place from November 7-9 at the ExCeL centre in London.
Among some of the research due to be presented is the World Travel Market Industry Report on Monday November 7 at 10.30am in the WTM International Press Centre Conference Room.
The report has polled both members of the global travel industry and 1,000 UK holidaymakers to give an insight into the conversations taking place on the WTM London exhibition floor.
Monday will also see the Phocuswright Fast Track: State of European Startups session take place on the WTM Global Stage during which the travel market research company’s latest data on start-up companies will be presented.
The following day marks the launch of the WTM Global Trends Report, conducted in association with Euromonitor International.
The research will include data into trends for each geographical region of the industry, travel technology and global brands, and will take place at the WTM Inspire Theatre at 3pm.
Prior to that at 11am in the South Gallery Room, Neilsen will exclusively reveal its report on luxury purchases at airports, while Out Now Consulting will present is LGBT2030 study into the LGBT travel market - estimated to be worth $200 billion - at 12.45pm in Platinum Suite 1.
The final day of World Travel Market London will play host to the first NUS Insight Presents: #FOMOholidays! Driving your UK student travel strategy session which will take place in the South Gallery Room at 12.30pm.
The session will discuss how businesses can attract the 16 to 24-year-old market - which spends more than £3 billion each year on overseas holidays.
Capping off the final day will be Mintel delivering its forecast into how Brexit may affect the industry during Mintel presents: Impact and opportunities of Brexit on the UK travel market session in the Platinum Suite 1.
