The company, based in Maidenhead, traded under the name STL Holidays, and sold exclusively through an appointed agent called Elegant Travel & Tours – a Travel Trust Association (TTA) member.
At the time of the firm’s collapse on Tuesday there were 142 Atol-protected forward bookings covering 321 passengers.
There were seven Atol-protected bookings overseas, covering 17 passengers.
The CAA said for customers overseas on a trip purchased with Skies The Limit, and holding a schedule e-ticket, the flight remains valid for all portions of the trip and return to the UK.
The CAA also said it is speaking to the accommodation providers in order to “guarantee no changes to the accommodation portion of the trip for Skies The Limit consumers who are currently overseas”.
It is possible that consumers may be required to pay again for accommodation, or other elements purchased as part of the trip.
More information can be found on the CAA website.
