Craig joins Loveholidays as its new chief product officer, and becomes part of the firm’s executive leadership team. His appointment follows two stints with Expedia, both in product. He brings more than 15 years’ industry experience to the role.
This included an eight-year spell with Hotels.com, during which time he was a founding member of the firm’s international product team. In his new role, Craig will head up Loveholidays’ product team, with a focus on developing and expanding its platform.
Loveholidays said Craig’s arrival would strengthen its bid to become Europe’s "number one package holiday provider". The business plans to increase its already 250-strong workforce by 45% this financial year with the addition of the equivalent of around 110 new roles.
“Dan has considerable industry experience, an exceptional track record, and is one of the best in the market for shaping and developing product capabilities," said Loveholidays chief executive Donat Retif.
"After an incredible decade of growth, we have reached a natural point to expand our executive leadership team and create this new position as we continue to scale up as a business."
