Russian security chiefs have said that Metrojet Flight 9268 was downed by a bomb
Investigators have been studying the debris and found traces of explosives in the debris, The Guardian reported.
“One can unequivocally say that it was a terrorist act,” Alexander Bortnikov, the head of Russia’s FSB security service reportedly said.
All 224 people onboard the flight from Sharm el Sheikh were killed.
The bomb was believed to contain the equivalent of up to 1kg of TNT, the BBC reported.
