Much Better Adventures is an online platform helping independent excursion providers to sell their products to an international audience.
Co-founder and TTG Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders alumnus Sam Bruce said working with a larger tour operator to help widen the company’s reach was part of its “roadmap” to grow further.
Bruce said Much Better Adventures had been talking to “some really keen parties” about distributing its short breaks but that discussions were still at a fledgling stage.
Bruce was speaking to TTG after the launch of Epic Weekends, a new programme of 66 breaks from Much Better Adventures.
He said that on top of the trips currently on offer via Epic Weekends, the firm had a further 25 breaks in the pipeline.
“Our aim is to get all our trips on sale and make sure the quality of the product is maintained but working with the travel trade is on our roadmap and I think ours is a product that could work well,” Bruce said. He added that the new range had been expanded after the company was “overwhelmed” by customers’ response to its initial trial period, run last year.
All trips are led by local guides and experts to create an authentic experience which can include food, guiding and accommodation.
Bruce said the collection had been created to suit “time-poor, experience-hungry” travellers with a large number of bookings coming from the 25-35 age demographic.
