The cruise operator had originally planned to operate five of the weekly four-day Miami-Cuba round-trip cruises from May.
However, another 20 will start in June and run until the end of the year with each offering an overnight stay in Havana.
Norwegian Cruise Line president and chief executive Andy Stuart said: “We are thrilled to be the first cruise line able to offer weekly sailings from Miami to Cuba through the fall of 2017, all with overnights in the beautiful city of Havana.
“We have seen great demand from our guests for sailings to Cuba and we look forward to providing more opportunities for them to experience this incredibly culture-rich destination on a weekly basis.”
The cruise will also feature a call on Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian’s private island in the Bahamas.
