With the launch of British Airways’ non-stop service between London and Doha, travellers will have access to seven daily flights from Heathrow.
The expanded codeshare network will now also include all of British Airways’ flights within the UK.
Qatar Airways will codeshare on a number of routes from Heathrow to Europe.
Qatar Airways Group chief executive, Akbar Al Baker, said: “Following the recent news of our joint business agreement with British Airways, we are pleased to further strengthen our relationship with the announcement of these additional code share flights across Europe, which will enhance our commercial cooperation and strengthen our competitive offering in the market.”
Qatar Airways and British Airways have also commenced a joint business agreement which will see all non-stop flights between the UK and Doha operating under the codeshare agreement.
