The operator has added Madeira, Namibia and Northern Cyprus to its programme for the first time, as well as a new rail tour of India.
Marketing director Ben Hitchcock said the new destinations had been chosen by Riviera following its research into the “cultural travel interests” and “travel market trends” seen in 2016.
“We wanted to continue expanding our European and worldwide escorted tours offerings and are ecstatic to unveil these fantastic new tours and give our customers what they want,” he added.
“Riviera Travel has more than 30 years of experience under its belt and we are constantly finding new and exciting places to discover.
“These new tours will give travel agents the chance to offer their customers a truly unique and unforgettable experience to an unusual destination they may not have considered themselves.”
Among the new offerings is Riviera’s 14-day tour of Namibia.
Leading in at £2,599pp, with selected departures from March to November 2018, the trip will allow travellers to go on safari through the country’s Etosha national park.
Clients can also choose Riviera’s eight-day Madeira, the Pearl of the Atlantic tour.
Starting from £799pp, the tour enables guests to take in the Palheiro Gardens (above) and wander through the town of Ribeira Brava.
Rounding off its new locations is Riviera’s Discover Northern Cyprus itinerary.
The eight-day journey, available from £849pp, gives travellers the chance to explore the historical sites at Salamis and Famagusta, the castle of St Hilarion and the Cypriot capital of Nicosia.
Meanwhile, the operator will also debut its new The Heart of India by Luxury Train itinerary, which leads in at £3,599pp and takes passengers onboard the Deccan Odyssey.
The 11-day trip includes the tiger reserve at Ranthambore national park.
