The trio is Sukina Fagg, who has the role of national account manager, Wayne Beard who is cruise sales executive for the North and Laura Croft, who takes an identical role covering the South.
Fagg said: “We’re really excited to be able to really focus solely on Saga Cruises.
We will initially be focusing on cruise specialists, ensuring our technology is in line with their needs, providing training for sales teams, arranging ship visits and attending as many trade shows as possible.
“We will also be working alongside retail teams that might be cruise focused.”
Saga currently has two ships in its fleet, Saga Sapphire carrying 720 passengers and Saga Pearl II carrying 449.
In September 2015, Saga announced its intention to build its first ever new-build ship, which is scheduled for delivery in Autumn 2019.
The over 50s are Saga’s target market and last year, this age segment spent almost £2.2 billion on cruise holidays.
The brand interviewed more than 8,000 of its own clients and found that a quarter of the age group said that they would go on a cruise if they could.
