The initiative has been created by SEO Travel with all aspects being offered free of charge throughout 2016.
A number of free workshops will be held throughout 2016 and a free video course covering travel-specific digital marketing will also be on offer.
Tom Mcloughlin, managing director of SEO Travel, said: “I’ve always been frustrated by the misinformation that flies around in the digital industry with a lot of individuals and companies often misleading people for their own gain.
“Without having extensive knowledge of the digital landscape it is almost impossible for people to make an informed decision on what is best for their company online.”
“Unfortunately small businesses don’t have the time or budgets to attain sufficient, trustworthy knowledge and this means salespeople can take advantage of them by making false promises that they don’t deliver on.
“Our goal with ‘Go the Extra Mile’ is to give small travel businesses that knowledge so they can carry out some of the initial work themselves and start to build their online presence, as well as giving them much more information to work with when considering paying for someone’s services so they can make a more informed decision.”
‘Go the Extra Mile’ has launched with a free video course, available here: (http://seotravel.co.uk/video-course/).
Spaces for the workshops will be limited, so to reserve a place for the first session in February contact tom@seotravel.co.uk
